No. Whether you want to put pressure on yourself that's fine, but Dine To Meet is a new and innovative way for single people to meet. See it as a fresh and fun alternative to dating in Galway.
An alternative way to date in Galway
In a world where it's sometimes too complicated to meet, dating can seem like a chore. We therefore, offer you this alternative to dating. When the pressure is off you'll be more relaxed, so you'll have more fun. We focus on the organising, so all you need to do is enjoy yourself. What could be easier?
How do I join?
To join a table, guests simply submit an online application form with their details. Dine To Meet select up to eight compatible people to meet, based on age and interests. Dine to Meet book a restaurant table and then send their guests an email with the details. To confirm their place at the table there is a €75 charge. Submit your details on our website and we'll take it from there.
What happens when I arrive?
After that, a Dine To Meet representative greets all the guests at the restaurant, introduces the group to one another and leaves them to enjoy the rest of their evening. It couldn't be easier.
Guests are not on a one to one, so they're under no pressure. Everyone mingles, maybe they'll see a spark, and maybe they won't. What's more important is that single people get to go out and enjoy a good meal, good conversation and expand their circle of friends.
About Us:
Dine To Meet was set up by Eileen and Catherine Sweeney; two Galway based siblings who recognised a gap in the market for single people looking for an alternative to the current Galway dating scene. Nearly 60% of people in Galway are single*, many of whom have grown tired of nightclubs and want an excuse to go out for a good meal and widen their circle of friends. Dine to Meet brings this opportunity to people of all ages over 25. After a very successful launch in Galway, Dine To Meet will be running in Dublin in January.
