Galway Pubs and Bars
There are many different reasons for going to a Galway pub - great beer, a nice location, good craic or lively clientele.
Galway is blessed with many, excellent and varied traditional and modern pubs alike. You'll find pubs with full-on nightlife, and those with a more relaxed and easy going atmosphere.
If you're new to Galway, and fancy heading to see some traditional pubs, with a likelihood of catching some live music, go straight to pubs such as The Crane on Sea Road, or the recently refurbished Roisin Dubh, which offers different events during the week including live music and comedy.
If you're looking for a headier hangout, make your way towards Eyre Square with pubs such as The "Skeff" (Skeffington Arms) or The Living Room on Bridge Street.
